Review: Yeouth Skincare Retinol 2.5% with Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera & Vitamin E

I was kindly gifted this product by Yeouth Skincare to try, however all opinions expressed in my review are completely my own. I have been using this product for around two months now and honestly, my skin has undergone a huge transformation! I couldn’t be happier with it!

When the product arrived, I did a patch test according to the instructions. I didn’t experienced any dryness or irritation so after 48 hours I began applying the product to my face every evening. I apply it after cleansing, to damp skin, before moisturising. This serum smells wonderful (like green tea!), goes on very smoothly and a pea sized amount spreads easily over your entire face.

I had been hopeful about this product’s anti-ageing effects but was rather sceptical that it would do anything for the stubborn hormonal acne that plagues me every month…I was wrong! The texture of my skin has changed slightly – it feels and appears softer and smoother – but the biggest change is that my acne has reduced by around 75-80%! I am truly shocked and hope it’s not just a fluke, but for the last couple of months my skin is the best is has been since I was pregnant.

I haven’t made any other major changes recently so I’m quite confident that this product has made a huge difference! I will post a further review in a few months to update you with how I’m getting on, but if you have adult acne this is definitely worth a try! Don’t forget to apply a high SPF sunscreen during the day (I use SPF 50+ with UVA and UVB protection) and reapply often if you’re out in the sun.
